Marie, an aspiring teacher, meets Luis at a Mardi Gras party. When they end up in bed together, she begins an affair with him, without knowing he is a sex addict. A formal complaint of sexual assault causes Marie to start having doubts about Luis, yet she continues to give in to his desires.
